The importance of Paul Krugman to the myths espoused by the Democratic Party is monumental. So we have it that the real issues are about paying more to the rich, or getting more money for the majority. And of course, the key absurdity of this and perhaps any previous election:
Lately, however, I’ve seen a growing number of Romney supporters making a quite different argument. Vote for Mr. Romney, they say, because if he loses, Republicans will destroy the economy.
He admits that this is not what is really involved. He says that what is really involved is more gridlock.
And here is the truth. More gridlock. But not by the Republicans. By the Democrats if they hold the Senate.
